Amalthea launches new range of organic cheese at BIOFACH 2023

Biofach, one of the world’s biggest trade fairs for organic food, will take place from 14 to 17 February in Nuremberg, Germany. At this fair, we are proud to introduce our new range of organic goat cheese and organic cow cheese. We trust in our unique recipes and methods and are convinced that this new range will be welcomed with open arms.

Sustainability and animal welfare

As a leading producer of semi-hard goat and organic cow cheese, we feel it is our responsibility to enable sustainable cheese production with careful attention for animal welfare and the environment. This new range of organic goat and cow cheese marks another big step towards happier animals and a healthier planet.

Organic processing

In organic dairy farming, we only use natural crop protection products and avoid all artificial pesticides and fertilisers. What’s more, we do not use any flavourings, colourants, or fragrances when we turn the milk into cheese in our open-top drains, producing organic cheese with a distinctive flavour profile.

Corporate social responsibility

The cooperative believes in transparency in the chain and when it comes to the environment, which is why several members of the cooperative have educational programmes for primary and secondary schools, and tertiary education institutes on their farms. Groups can also visit the farms. We also frequently collaborate with universities about animal welfare research.
